Workshop: Men’s Cravat

$30Participants will learn to make a men’s cravat of the period 1795-1810 using materials provided. They will also take home patterns, instructions and other materials to make more cravats on their own. They have the choice of 3 styles among white linen, a black silk triangle or a square tan and brown checked pattern. All materials included. Please bring along basic-hand sewing tools, scissors, thimble, needles and beeswax. This workshop will be taught by Mark Amey and will be held on the third floor of the Rock Ford mansion.
Participants interested in signing up may call the Rock Ford Office (717-392-7223) to have their name added to the sign-up sheet. The total amount due needs to be paid by Friday, February 12th. Payment can be a mailed check made payable to Rock Ford Foundation, credit card number by phone to the Rock Ford Office, or you may stop by the Museum Shop to pay in person, Monday through Friday.
